Reese Witherspoon began seriously pursuing her acting career after first taking a class at Stanford University. At the beginning of her career, she played roles in movies like Pleasantville as well as Election. To dedicate more time to acting, she decided to postpone her studies at college for a year. Later on she attended Stanford University, she took a short course in English literature before choosing to go back to work. In 2003, The Invisible Man was her first film. Following that, she was on various TV shows such as House of Lies Whitney or Better Call Saul. Alongside her acting work her appearances in films such as The Dictator or The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. In addition to her work as an actor, she is also an artist who has shown her artwork in a variety of galleries.
