Suzanne Pleshette (born June 25 1944) was an American actress, voice-over actor and writer. In her almost five-decade career, she has accumulated more than 100 credits. Pleshette is a native of New York and began her acting career on stage. Later she decided to gradually transition to film. Her most well-known films are Rome Adventure, The Birds, Fate Is the Hunter and If It's Tuesday This Must Be Belgium. Alongside her films, she has played various TV roles and shows. She was nominated for Emmy Awards four times and Golden Globe Awards twice. Pleshette had been nominated two times and she was awarded her the Laurel Award 1963 for The Birds. Pleshette died in 2008, and the honor of a Star was presented to her on her deathbed Hollywood Walk of Fame.
