Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress, who is primarily in Tamil as well as Telugu films in addition to several Malayalam films. She was awarded the National Film Award Best Actress Award for playing actress Savitri. The other awards she received comprise the three SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South, and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy, the daughter of Menaka G. Suresh and filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar is an aspiring actress. Her initial career path was an actress for children. Later, after studying the field of Fashion Design, she returned to acting. Her debut lead role came in 2013's Malayalam movie Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy began the first of her Malayalam projects as well as began to work in Tamil in parallel. Her first film release is A. L. Vijay's romantic comedic Idhu Enna Maayam (2015) with Vikram Prabhu. However, the film was not a success at the box office. In order to accommodate bigger projects because of her busy schedule, she opted out of some films, which she started to work on. This included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a love story) and Deekay's Kavalaivendam. The result was that she made two films with Sivakarthikeyan in quick succession, Rajini Murugan and Remo, while also playing the lead part in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari, alongside Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to release in Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. Though the release date for Janakitho Nenu is not yet announced, it is reported that it may be sometime in September of 2020. The first film to debut was Nenu Sailaja in 2016 starring the actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy first appeared in Bairavaa with Vijay and directed by Bharathan.
